Manchester made the short trip across the Pennines for the return fixtures with the Leeds Varsity Bobcats. The Titans were at the short end of a controversial call on a potential game-winning TD catch in the home fixture and felt confident they would overcome the Division Leaders this time.

The Titans Youth Team were looking to bounce back from their disappointing loss to Leeds whilst Gateshead were seeking revenge for their opening season-loss to the Titans.

The Titans, coming off their season opening win against Lancashire last week, were looking to continue their good form against the Hornets. This season Hull had moved into a fantastic new ground at Brantingham Park, and were looking to revenge their 2 losses to the Titans last year.
Titans beat Lancashire Wolverines to start season with a win!
The Titans matched the achievements of the youth team last week to start the season with a win against local rivals Lancashire Wolverines today. The game was a tetchy affair with both sides making errors but the Titans triumphed in the end to win 26 – 20
Titans Youth win first game of season
Titans season opener was a 3 hour road trip up to sunny Gateshead where the weather and the hospitality never faltered. The Titans squad was boosted by several Bolton Bulldogs players, including GB Youth call-up LB Mike Ainscow who joined when they pulled out of the league just 2 weeks ago.

Titans 2010 Campaign delayed by snow!
Unfortunately, due to the extreme weather conditions we have decided to cancel this weekends return to training. as a result the 2010 Campaign will begin on Sunday 17th January 2010 at 12:30 but players are asked to be there for 11:30 am in order to fill out forms etc.
Titans Open Tryouts
On Sunday the 8th and 15th November 2009 the Titans will be running their annual tryouts, no experience neccessary at all. If you would like to start out and see if this is the sport for you then we would be delighted to give you a taste of the sport.
